IGP Punjab sought a report of the incident from RPO DG Khan, instructed DPO Muzaffargarh to form a special team for the immediate arrest of the accused
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of the incident of rape of a BSC student on the pretense of marriage in Muzaffargarh and has asked RPO DG Khan for a report on the incident. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed DPO Muzaffargarh to form a special team for the immediate arrest of the accused. IGP Punjab directed that all aspects of the incident should be investigated and the accused should be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that justice should be ensured to the victim student on priority basis.
